We sing, pray, love people and teach in His powerful Name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ. Colossians 1:16-17 says (when speaking of Jesus), “For by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” We commit that our church is dedicated to loving this all-powerful, all-loving God with everything we have, and we invite you to join us in this desire. Longview Missionary began in 1947 with a vision to reach the greater Longview area with the good news of Jesus Christ.  We are a diverse community of people who come together to worship God and grow through powerful biblical teaching.  We love seeing lives transformed through the love of Jesus and we believe lives can still be changed through the power of the cross. We believe there is one and only one living and true God, the creator and sustainer of all things visible and invisible, infinite in holiness and all His perfections. God is all powerful and all knowing; and His perfect knowledge extends to all things, past, present, and future, including the future decisions of His free creatures. The eternal triune God reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection and without division of nature, essence, or being, yet executing distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence, and redemption. To God we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience. (Gen 1:1, 26; Deut 6:4; Matt 3:16-17; 28:19; John 1:1, 3; 4:24; 2 Cor 13:14; Col 1:16-17; 1 Tim 1:17) We believe that love for one another as Jesus loves the believer manifests our discipleship, proves our love for God and symbolizes our authority as New Testament churches. Love is therefore the great commandment of the LORD Jesus Christ upon which all others are dependent (Matt. 22:35-40; John 13:34, 35; John 15:12; 1 John 4:7-21; 1 John 5:1-3; Rev. 2:4-5).  We believe in the complete verbal inspiration and inerrancy of the whole Bible as originally written, and that the Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice (Psalm 119:160; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17).  We believe that salvation is wholly by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and the requisites to it are repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Luke 13:3-5; John 3:16-18; Acts 20:21; Rom. 6:23; Eph. 2:8, 9), and that the Holy Spirit convicts sinners, regenerates, seals, secures, and indwells every believer (John 3:6; John 16:8, 9; Rom. 8:9-11; 1 Cor. 6:19, 20; Eph. 4:30; Titus 3:5). We believe that all who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in Him and shall not perish (John 3:16, John 3:36; John 5:24; John 10:27-30; Rom. 8:35-39; Heb. 10:39; 1 Peter 1:5). We believe in the bodily resurrection and ascension of Christ and the bodily resurrection of His saints (Matt. 28:1-7; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Cor. 15:42-58; 1 Thess. 4:13-18). We believe in the premillennial, personal, bodily return of Christ as the crowning event of the Gentile age. This event will include the resurrection of the righteous, and the Millennium will be followed by the resurrection of the unrighteous unto eternal punishment in the lake of fire and that the righteous shall enter into the heaven age (John 14:1-6; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 2 Thess. 2:8; Rev. 19; Rev. 20:4-6; Rev. 20:11-15; Rev. 21:8). We believe that Jesus Christ established His first church during His ministry on earth (Matt. 4:18-22; Matt. 16:18). We believe that His churches today are those local, visible assemblies of scripturally baptized believers in covenant relationship to carry out the Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that each church is an independent, self-governing body, and no other ecclesiastical body may exercise authority over it. We believe that Jesus Christ gave the Great Commission to His churches only, and that He promised the perpetuity of His churches (Matt. 4:18-22; Matt. 16:18; Matt. 28:19, 20; Mark 1:14-20; John 1:35-51; Eph. 3:21). We believe that there are two divinely appointed offices in a church, pastors and deacons, to be filled by men whose qualifications are set forth in Titus and 1 Timothy. We believe that there are two pictorial ordinances in the Lord's churches: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. Scriptural baptism is the immersion of penitent believers in water, administered by the authority of a New Testament church in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Lord's Supper is a memorial ordinance, restricted to the members of the church observing the ordinance (Matt. 28:19, 20; Acts 8:12, 38; Rom. 6:4; 1 Cor. 5:11-13; 1 Cor. 11:1, 2, 17-20, 26).  We believe that the miraculous spiritual manifestation gifts were done away when the Bible was completed. Our passion is to see people have a deep growing relationship with God through His Son, Jesus. We look forward to ministering to you and your family.  Tony serves as administrative pastor. He has been on staff since October 1989 and ordained in 1999. He graduated from Hallsville High School and has a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary. He and Dianne have been married since August of 1979. They have two children and five grandchildren.  Josh serves as our Children's pastor. He and his wife Shaylee, have 4 children; Olivia, Claire, Emma, and Thomas. Josh received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Texas Baptist Institute. He surrendered to the gospel ministry and joined our staff in 2013. JD joined the LMBC team in May 2020 where he serves as Youth Pastor. He and his wife Bri have two daughters and one son, Charli,Sadie and Luka. He is a graduate of White Oak HS and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training from East Texas Baptist University. He is currently enrolled at Texas Baptist Institute and Seminary.  Kaden joined the LMBC team in June 2026 where he serves as Minister of Music. He and his wife Jamie are newly married. They will be glad to answer your questions and get you pointed to someone that can further assist you and get you to the right place.  Guest Services is located in our front foyer to the left. You can get additional information there that will help you find the nursery, where to take your kids, and other information about LMBC. Typically about 90-120 people gather for our 8:45 am worship service  and 190-300 for our 10:45am service on a given Sunday. We have many children, youth, college students, young adults and adults in all places in life. Services are typically 50 to an hour in length. Almost everyone can find a place at LMBC. Our worship services begin at 8:45 and 10:45am, so 15 minutes early is plenty of time to park and get settled before the service begins.  For children from birth - age 2, a nursery is available for all regularly scheduled services. In addition, there are Children's Chapels for ages 2&3, ages 4 - Kindergarten, and 1st through 4th grade during morning services. Chapels begin at 8:45 and 10:45am. You may check your children in  and drop them  off at their classrooms and pick them up at the conclusion of the worship service.  From traditional and modern arrangements of classic hymns to contemporary praise and worship songs, our services consist of a variety of music styles. Our worship pastor, praise team and choir will lead you in a time of worship and praise that uplifts and exalts the name of Jesus Christ. You’ll typically hear a message from our pastoral staff or guest speaker. We'll look at a passage in the Bible, and theyr will explain its meaning and apply it to today’s culture and our lives. The messages are usually 30 minutes. You’ll notice that we pray throughout the service. We believe that God knows us and wants us to be in a relationship, communicating with Him. You don’t need to know any words or creeds before coming to church. Someone will lead the prayers and you can pray along or just listen. An offering is received during our service as an additional opportunity for worship. We give to God as an expression of gratitude for all He has given us. The offering is primarily directed toward people: Guest can freely give if they feel so led, but we believe it is the responsibility of our church membership to support the ministries of LMBC. Our Sunday morning Bible studies begin at 9:45 and we have a class for every age group. This is a great way to learn and apply God's word to your life and meet new people. From children's ministries to senior adults, we tailor our ministries to meet our church families spiritual needs. We invite you to take advantage of the ministries we offer to help you on your spiritual journey.  Here at LMBC we strive to encounter God in worship every Sunday morning. Each Sunday at 10:30am we meet for worship with the express purpose of bringing glory and honor to God. The music style ranges from the newest contemporary songs to our oldest and most beloved hymns. The common thread is that every song glorifies and exalts our God. Our choir leads worship along with instrumentalists and a praise team each Sunday morning. Come worship with us!  LMBC loves kids! We have a plan to help our kids build friendships and discover God in a fun and engaging way. Through Bible based teaching, kids will enjoy age specific chapels and Bible studies on Sunday morning that range from nursery age up to 4th grade. Our Wednesday nights consist of AWANA groups for children of all ages where they will spend time with other children their age learning scripture and growing together. The summers are full of activities such as VBS, Kids Camp, and trips to Splash Kingdom, AirU and much more. Our mission is to create a passionate, authentic and welcoming community where students can seek, learn and grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus. It is also a place where students can develop genuine friendships with one another. We strive to demonstrate and lead students to view their relationship with Jesus not just as a casual or emotional experience, but a personal one. We love helping students discover their God given gifts and calling, and to equip them to use them to glorify Him. We are passionate about creating a community where students connect, grow and serve with other students, leaders and the whole LMBC family. To accomplish these things we have many ways for your students to get connected. Students gather on Wednesdays at 6:15pm in our 806 building. We worship, get instruction from God's word including small group interaction and fellowship. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 we have small group Bible studies for our Jr. High and High School groups. We have discipleship, fellowship, camp and mission trip opportunities throughout the year in addition to our weekly gatherings. We would love for your students to get involved in one of our weekly gatherings and all that is going on in our LMBC Student Ministry.  Spreading the gospel means a lot to LMBC. We believe that every believer is called by God to carry out the Great Comission. We are directly involved in the finacial support of over 100+ missionaries through state and national associational support and direct support of state, national and international church planters. We are also the primary sponsoring church for a mission organization called "CityReach", which sends over 200 teenagers, college students and adults on a stateside mission trip every summer. LMBC has several different groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9:45. From interactive classes for children, group discussion classes and lecture type classes.
